On Second Thought… By Robyn Funkhouser It has only been regarding a month that I have owned this shoe and it is already falling detached so I had to edit my introductory review (entitled “Gorgeous Shoe… Runs Small/Size Up!”). After searching high and low for a flat, brown, gladiator/strappy sandal, I came all over this shoe. It looked even more amazing in person than online. The cognac is such a versatile color… it closely looks like a faded/light brown or yellowish brown but seems to go well with almost anything. Sizewise, these unquestionably run little so size up! I commonly wear a 7/7.5 so I was genuinely glad I heeded the warnings of other reviewers I had found and ordered a size 8. And they only come in whole sizes so if you wear an 8, order a 9. I know a handful of humans who do not wear thong flip flops because they can not stand the sentiment amongst their toes so if you are one of those humans I do NOT advise you to buy this shoe. The straps are stretchy so they fit snugly around your foot which does mean that, different from your plain thong flip flop, there is a slight tug on the portion that comes through/between your toes. It doesn’t bother me in the slightest but again, I recognise there are people it might bother. I was so in love with the way this shoe looked and felt that I genuinely stressed out for a minute when I original purchased them when I thought regarding how I planned to wear the crap out of them and will they last through all that wear and tear? I now have my answer. Granted, I HAVE worn the crap out of them, but I was hoping they would last longer than a mere month. The undersurface of the sole is now coming detached from the inside sole that my feet rest against. Also, the rubber undersurface occasionally catches on carpet, peculiarly now since the soles have become like loose flaps of rubber- I have to be careful to undertake not to shuffle my feet when I walk. Granted, I did take them with me for a long camping weekend but it’s not like I did any hiking or rock climbing in them, it was basically just a lot of walking on farm like terrain. At any rate, I’m very sad this isn’t a more lasting shoe. I’m a tad penitent to confess though, they are so cute I might buy another pair and just undertake to wear them more sparingly/cautiously….

cute sandal By T Mathews Before buying from here I tried this sandal in real (in a shop. My actual size (size 5) runs very little and size 6 fits my feet perfectly. BEWARE:all Aldo shoes run 1 size small. If you wear size 5, take size 6. The quality is good and it looks very classy and sexy. I love it.

Very comfortable By Paulett M This is a very comfortable sandals with soft leather..no uneasiness to the feet. I purchased the white and brown. I have semi wide feet and these fit perfectly. I commonly have issues with sandals as they are most times too narrow at the front…not this time.
